Amazing food Breathtaking scenery And more importantly excellent staff and kind hospitality! Whenever we visit Castellabate from London, we come to Bonora almost every night. We enjoy every minute of it! Special thanks to the wonderful team of Bonora: Nicola: Excellent team leader, a professional manager and very kind! Antonella: She is simply amazing! very friendly, fluent in English, she goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time there! Andrea: Full of energy, brings a smile on your face every time you see him. We cannot remember the rest of the staff’s names but we are grateful to all of you. Eating should also be an experience and it was here. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The food was delicious and spiced slightly different, i.e. Pistachio Pesto on Pizza, Saffron on bruschetta, lime and mint in risotto, and many others. These slightly different aromas were not overpowering, rather very well complimented the food, leaving you to guess what you just tasted. The best experience was of course the wonderful view. You cannot have enough of it. There is parking aplenty. However the entrance is very inconspicuous : right on top of a sharp bend, slightly going up from the "main road", into a seemingly ruined place. However, bear on, it takes another sharp left and down a steep hill to the parking amongst the olive trees. For tourists not used to this, it may seem daunting. However, if your car brought until this point, it will definitely bring you a couple of metres more. Vesuvius is clearly visible in the distance, granted clear weather.

Unfortunately they do not have menu in english, and suggested to visit the website, but menu on website is not the same one but much more modest ant it gives just poor translation. They forgot to bring the glass of rose wine and when we reminded that would be nice to have wine together with food - that was quite unpleasant “conversation” with several people from staff… maybe the problem was that it is realy a problem to speak in english for them. Overall all experience was just unpleasant time exept that pizza was good, but just pizza. Price for everything did not match the quality at all and this was the case when google rating was so much misleading… we even decided not to order the dessert - did not want to spend a minute longer here despite really nice view.
